What Is A Top Hung Bifold Door?
A top-hung bifold door is a door that doesn’t use bottom tracks like ordinary bifold doors, but instead uses only a top-track which the door effectively hangs from. This means that the top track is responsible for holding the full weight of the door, so a strong lintel is required to do so. The bottom track doesn’t actually hold any of the weight of the door, but it is still the main mechanism which makes the door slide.
