Ordinary doors tend to have frames of high thermal conductivity, which allows the internal heat of your room to seep outwards and reduce the overall atmospheric temperature. However, our exterior bifold doors offer low thermal conductivity to enhance insulation and maintain temperatures without using excessive heat energy.
Paired with low thermally-conducting frames is our Q-Ion sealant, which improves temperature regulation by preventing cold air from ingressing in the winter, and warm air in the summer.

What Size Are External Bifold Doors?
The minimum size available is around 1800mm and consists of a trio of 570mm panels. As your size requirements get bigger, more panels are added. The maximum size for a bifold door is normally slightly under five metres. These doors can replace walls using aluminium frames to support the heavier glass used in larger doors. How Do I Stop Condensation On My External Bifold Door?
Condensation is a natural process that occurs when the moisture in the air undergoes temperature fluctuations. For this reason, no specific type of door will eliminate condensation, and the best you can do is take measures to ensure that condensation is delayed. Condensation is most evident in September and October. But there is no great cause for concern if you ensure that your room is well ventilated and you regularly wipe away any moisture that accumulates at the bottom of your door.
